About Us

Ours is a vibrant & well-used Village Hall, situated in the heart of East Huntspill village. Surrounded by fields yet close to Bridgwater, Highbridge & Burnham-on-sea.

The hall is the focus of many groups from the village & surrounding areas who meet weekly or monthly for a variety of pursuits as well as being available for hire for special occasions.

It Takes A Village

Some time ago a growing village recognised that it needed somewhere for the community to meet & use for activities.
At the time, all the different groups in the village only had a small church hall to squeeze into. Little did they know that it would take 11 years of planning & fundraising before the dream of a new village hall would be realised. Land was purchased in 2000 & after years of hard graft the hall was opened in 2004, since then it has continued to be run by a committee of local people for use by the village & surrounding areas.
